A free SEO review for small businesses, before any plan
We search as your customers do, from both sides of the river, then tell you what to fix first.
We gathered Google.ca suggestions for 148 Fredericton search starters, and four habits kept coming back. People add a side of the river: north side, northside or simply north. They also add a street or a mall, such as Prospect Street, Regent Mall or Kings Place. Then they add a time: fredericton open now comes back with pharmacy, pizza, barbershop and café versions. Finally, many add “nb”, mostly out of habit.
The surrounding communities follow the same pattern on a smaller scale, with searches such as oromocto restaurants open now and keswick ridge pharmacy. With the census area passing 125,000 people in 2025, a small business can draw from a wide circle, as long as its listing says clearly where it is and when it is open. That is the starting point for SEO for small businesses here: name your own community plainly, so nearby customers know at a glance.
Search demand
Taken from Google’s Canadian suggestion lists across many trades this October. So whatever you sell, these endings fit it too.
Most small businesses lose searches not because they are worse, but because their listing leaves out what every local takes for granted: which side of the river, which street or mall, which door, which hours. Name your side of the river and your street or mall, keep hours exact (holidays included), say plainly what you sell or do, and keep recent reviews coming in. That short list is the heart of SEO for small businesses, because it covers much of what decides which nearby shop Google shows.
A short self-check
Try these from a phone, ideally while standing on the opposite side of the river from your door.
If that is your side of the river and you do not appear, your listing and site probably never mention it. Add it in plain words.
If you are open and missing, check your hours in Google, including the special hours for holidays.
Prospect Street, Regent Mall, Kings Place, Queen Street: if one applies, use it in your description and on your contact page.
If it was months ago, ask again after each sale or visit.
The work
We search as your customers do, from both sides of the river, then tell you what to fix first.
Every field filled in properly, as well as a short description that mentions your street, mall or part of town.
So each search meets a page that actually answers it.
Your name, address and phone stay identical everywhere, for example on Google, Apple Maps, Facebook and key directories.
Routine software updates and health checks come with every monthly plan. Bigger design or speed jobs, by contrast, get a one-time quote once we have audited the site.
Calls, direction requests, enquiries and positions, explained in everyday language instead of jargon.
Done carefully
Every field comes with its own rules and traps. These are the limits we keep to in this one.
If search is unlikely to bring in enough customers to cover the fee, we will say so before you sign anything.
Some businesses do not need a monthly plan. If word of mouth fills your week, one contract keeps you busy, or few people search for what you do, spend the money elsewhere; sometimes one clean-up of your Google listing is enough. Plans start at $250 a month in Canadian dollars with no long-term contract.

How we work
How a Fredericton business goes from hard to find to easy to choose.
We audit your site and Business Profile, then check where you appear from the north side, downtown and the nearby communities.
We pick the phrases worth chasing, from Google.ca suggestions and your own customers, and match each one to a single page.
Profile, page, content and listing fixes, ordered by the difference each one is likely to make.
A brief monthly note covering calls, messages and rankings, plus what we will tackle next.
Questions
Rarely, because we pull the Fredericton suggestions for your line of work, look at how you and nearby rivals show up, and then apply the same habits this page describes.
First, complete your profile, because it drives map results. A small, fast website then holds what a profile cannot: full service descriptions, prices and answers to common questions.
Sometimes, depending on distance and how specific the search is. Be clear about your real location, and rank well in your own community first.
Only if you serve customers in French and your team writes the pages or has them professionally translated. After all, Fredericton searches mostly in English. We can set French pages up correctly, but we do not write or translate them.
Budget $250 a month for Starter, $350 for Growth or $550 for Pro, all in Canadian dollars, and walk away whenever you like, since there is no lengthy contract. Google Ads management belongs to Pro alone, and Google itself invoices whatever the ads cost. Read the plan-by-plan breakdown.
